Clean water is an imperative for all people, individuals and families, as the Vice President Kamala Harris made in the opening remarks for the event.
Mission of Love Charities’ CEO Deborah Martinez was a participant at the One Water Summit in Milwaukee, WI from September 13-15, 2022. At the conference, Martinez participated on a panel, “Successful Customer Engagement.” She provided background information along with engaging and earning trust to a population forgotten. She stated in the talk, COVID – 19 Changed the Equation.
This pressing need for clean water has been in the news recently as residents of Jackson, Mississippi were without clean water due to storm damage to the main water system. The question is, why isn’t contemporary water technology already in place in Jackson? Who are the populations served in Jackson? At risk of having no clean water are many low-income and diverse populations – not just in Jackson, but nationwide.
The time is now to put in place clean water technologies for all communities in the United States in need of system upgrades.
