At Mission of Love Charities, our team of dedicated employees works everyday to ensure the needs of the homeless population and low-income individuals and families in Prince George’s County, Montgomery County and Washington D.C. have essentials for living. They staff a Food Pantry that is open five days per week and four days per week in summer months. The team also dispenses household goods and furniture and hygiene kits to those in need. Our team is responsive to phone and in person inquiries throughout the day and interfaces with people in need. Staff also works closely with professionals in Prince George’s County and beyond who serve the needs of these populations.
Ms. Bradley’s background includes extensive experience in property management, human resources, and business development. She volunteered as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Mission of Love Charities; for 8 years before joining the team as Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Ms. Bradley was recently promoted to Chief Executive Officer and oversees a team of remarkable individuals dedicated to serving the homeless and low-income population. Her personal commitment is to make a positive impact on the lives of the population we serve.
Gregory Torrence
Director of Operations
Gregory oversees the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. He ensures that inventory is efficiently managed and that supplies are readily available for our programs and initiatives. In addition to the warehouse responsibilities, Gregory actively engages with our Case Management team. By leveraging his experience as a Health Aide Outreach manager, he assists in the development and implantation of innovative solutions to address behavioral challenges.
Jatmna Polanco De Cabrera
Case Manager
Jatmna has a degree in hospitality and is certified in CHW, CNA, GNA and Home Health Aide. She assists clients in completing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Medicaid applications, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria and have necessary supporting documentation. Jatmna is also a partn of the outreach team that attends community and local school events educating the community on our available programs and resources.
Andre Jackson
Case Manager
Andre’ has an extensive background in juvenile corrections, childhood education, behavioral health, and academic administration. He assists clients in completing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Medicaid applications, ensuring they meet eligibility and documentation requirements. Utilizing his expertise in behavioral education, Andre’ provides client referrals for behavioral health conditions and aids in the assessment and referral of clients facing substance abuse or mental health challenges.
In addition, Andre’ coordinates and oversees local outreach events and activities, educating residents about the programs and services offered by Mission of Love Charities, Inc.
Ana Sorto
Executive Assistant/Board Liaison
Ana is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Adenia Bradley. Her organizational skills and attention to detail play a crucial role in ensuring the Executive office runs efficiently. Ana is highly skilled in maintaining detailed records, tracking donations, and overseeing accounts payable, and receivable. Her ability to multitask and problem solve allows for a seamless coordination between senior leadership and the community partners.
Michelle Person
Case Lead Manager
Michelle assists clients in completing SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Medicaid applications, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria and have necessary supporting documentation. She refers clients for behavioral Health Referrals assessments to identify clients with substance abuse or mental health problems, considering individual needs and challenges; communicating and collaborating with relevant service providers to ensure clients receive the necessary care. Michelle is also responsible for coordinating and conducting outreach events within the senior community and local schools to educate residents about available programs and resources.
