Dear Friends and Supporters of Mission of Love Charities,
While the mission of Mission of Love Charities is focused on the priorities of the basic needs of food and housing, a new strategic mission priority is our Workforce Development Program, which provides job training and education to people who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic and other problems.
In order to get this Workforce Development Program up and running, helping the most people possible, we are in the process of rebuilding and renovating the abandoned Lyndon Hill school building across the street from our current facility, so that we will have a new, expanded facility to house and implement all of our operations, including the job training programs.
Thanks to the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County, we have leased the building for $1 per year. But we have to raise $1 million to match the funding that the Maryland State Legislature has provided to pay for the rebuilding and renovation of the structure.
We invite interested friends, supporters and members of the community to help us with this quest to create a dynamic Workforce Development Program facility.
Your investment in this program will pay dividends for years to come as more and more people in our community are able to get back on their feet economically and sustain the livelihood of themselves and their families.
Please do what you can to make a donation to the Mission of Love Charities’ effort to rebuild and renovate this building. Just click on the Donate link on this page.
