Mission of Love’s 1st Annual Golf Benefit Tournament a Huge Success

On September 22, 2022, sponsors, participants, friends and staff of Mission of Love Charities gathered at Oak Creek Golf Club in Upper Marlboro, MD for the 1^st Annual Golf Benefit Tournament. By all accounts, the Tournament was a big success and a great day for Mission of Love Charities.

In addition to nine holes of golf, there were many activities at the Tournament that kept the crowd engaged. Backswing Golf Events provided Golf Pro Sara Tadokor, to challenge golfers to a swing. For a donation, golfers could swing against Tadokor with proceeds going to Mission of Love Charities. A silent auction was held for the jersey of Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and a raffle also transpired for anyone interested in purchasing tickets. There was a luncheon for all who attended as well as a beverage cart to service the golfers that day.

Mission of Love Charities would like to thank all sponsors, including Bronze Sponsors: NAI Michael, Rodgers Consulting, Southern Management Companies and Stanley Martin. LA Perez Consulting sponsored the breakfast and Tropical Smoothie Café sponsored the luncheon. N’ Style Hair Grooming was the towel sponsor and The Law Offices of Norman D. Rivera, LLC sponsored the beverage cart. Kaiser Permanente was also a sponsor for the day.

Everyone had an exciting day on the golf green at Oak Creek Golf Club. A heart felt thank you to all staff that came to the event and worked to make the day extra special for all.
